A personal note from the artist.

Welcome and Thankyou for showing interest in my paintings.As you will notice from a quick glance at my website,this one is different.It does not imitate the infinite number of artists' websites which consist of long lists of exhibitions,(personal exhibitions and exhibitions with other artists),eulogies by various art critics,awards(there are many of these in Italy!) received during the course of own career,and so on.If I had done this I would simply have added another site to the myriad already existing sites of all the painters who,having featured in websites or articles in art journals,are classified in this peremptory way by people who,after all,benefit in one way or another from the world of art.
It is the painting itself which must give pleasure to others,attracting,surprising,stimulating people,creating that atmosphere of magic,memory,feeling,which has little to do with numbers and awards,exhibitions and criticisms,(positive of course!),that at bottom they leave a veil of perplexity because the very fine if we leaf through an Italian catalog of art,ALL those that are inserted can enumerate a list of how much I over have cited,
same thing is said for the web.
Then,to the end,what has art become today?A run up to merits and critics receipts and realized exhibitions?I don't belive that this is the true art and I don't belive that an artist merits of being catalogued in a similar way,as one number out of the hundreds and hundreds of other numbers,each with his or her own baggage of merit.For this I have decided to create a website free from all personal gratifications,with a biography where
it is spoken simply about the artist in itself and for the rest
the art like true protagonist,
that is the way in which the artist sees the world around to herself,because,
after all,to have a painting  hung to your wall simply because you appreciate it allows you to own something which,in every moment of your life, good or bad,
will transmit a positive and satisfying message.
That is True Art.
